There are two of us Little Owls and we live in a little village in the hills of Lancashire, in a little old house. Nothing beats a walk (to the pub) and then collapsing by the fire with a good book, some home cooked food and a nice single malt!

I love reading lifestyle blogs and find them inspiring, but I have never got around to actually acting on any of them.  So this blog is hopefully going to be a record of my attempt to become a slightly wiser owl whether it is stylistically, culinarily, literarily or any other kind of ly! Therefore all comments and suggestions on how to do this are happily received.
